Description

The listing, Do You Want to Play a Game? How Many Pop Tabs do you Think are in this Quart Size Bag? has ended.

Who cares! I know I don’t know and I am not about to count them so please don’t ask.

Winner takes all! SERIOUSLY… Nearly all of them are aluminum, but there might be a few that are not. That’s because I am saving all pop tabs but my husband tries to remove the ones that are not aluminum. As an artist, I would use them all in some way so that is why it does not matter to me. Lol Just take them…PLEASE!

You get everything you see in this quart size double zipper bag. We have always collected them for no apparent reason, so now here is your chance to start making those cool bracelets that are all the craze with kids these days. Make it longer and you have a belt! You could also take them to a recycling center and sell them for cold hard cash!! I hear they go for quite a bit. My husband tells me his sister sold a gallon of these for $40, but I really have no idea what they are worth. Interesting tidbit anyway.

Other ideas for use of pop tabs:

Glue it to the back of a frame as a picture hook (I already do this one).
Make an airplane (don’t ask me; just search the net for the directions).
Make a double coat hanger (I am going to try this one!)
Donate them to the Ronald McDonald House (Charity is always a great idea in my book!)

If you have any other uses for these handy things, please let us know in the comments below so we can all learn something new. :)

FREE shipping and most of all, have fun!

folks can check with their local dialysis unit some take them towards minutes on the dialysis machine, I know the one I used to tansport patients to in cOrona, Ca. used to take them it sur comes in handy for those on dialysis that have no insurance and cant afford to pay for their treatment. I have seen it save several of my former patients lives long enough that they came up on the transplant list and got their transplant and got off dialysis. :)

Cool listing. The local 4-H used to collect these and bring them in to the recycling center for cash. Easy way for non-profits to get some extra money and they do not take up a lot of room.

I crochet with them and make purses and trinket boxes , etc... I received a pint bag full last week and there were 650 in it, so you may have up to 1300 in the quart size.

I turn these in to help buy someone time on a dialysis machine. Each tab buys 5 seconds of time. Doesn't sound like much, but every second counts to someone who has to use the machines.

We started collecting them off my husband's beer cans. They would get in the way of his mustache. Lol. We had a huge gallon size one we gave to someone who made jewelry. Now about to fill a second bag. Even after I split some to give to a friend. There is a book at Michael's arts and crafts store I have seen with ideas on jewelry projects to make with these.
