Questions & Comments
u have two rings listed both are topaz but the depth of colour is different how can that be. And no im not trying to offend anyone. I just want the blue topaz in memory of my dad. thanks
I love London Blue, beautiful ring, I use to have one just like this till one of the stones fell out and was forever lost. Broke my heart. New fan, and I will be watching!
Zircon (not zirconia/CZ) was till it became too pricey, topaz took over, is heated in the gem lab to get all colors, certified 'natural' gems are extremely rare. Heating is an accepted treatment, but should be made known honestly to buyers.
This was not a cheap ring and you can see the occlusion's in some of the pics. This ring is not a cz nor is it heat treated. It also is not lab created. I would have noted that in the description if it was the case. I do have the receipt and all specifications to go with it if winner would like a copy.
Nothing wrong with heat treatment or any treatment to stones. It brings out their beauty and luster. I was tempted to do that to an aqua marine stone to get more aqua color. It is still a natural stone defiantly. :)
Well I'll be keeping my eyes on your future auctions. I don't have enough credits for this at the moment. The winner will be a lucky person! Good luck to you and on your future auctions! (:
