The listing, Lane Miniature Cedar Chest has ended.

Lane miniature cedar chest presented by Mason Salters furniture store in Louisiana to graduating high school girls . It is not perfect but is a nice box . It has no key and there are light water stains in the bottom that could be refinished . There is a little sap bleeding through the top but nothing major , it would still make a girl nice gift for her keepsakes . The joinery in this box is outstanding ! Not sure about the age but the store that presented the box has been in business since the late 1930s .

These have been handed out around the country since at least the late 60's. I love mine. Wish my girls could have gotten one.

Ok , thats good to know . I think that was a great program , it celebrated a young lady's achievement and served as a reminder for years afterwards .

Ah , silly me ! Well I haven't listed any GIN prices , I'm new to this but maybe after I get my feet wet I will be more comfortable valuing listings .

I recieved one of these in 1997 for my graduation by a furniture store in my town. I have lost mine since then. :(
