The beauty and depth of these can not be captured in photography. I did attempt to show the thickness of the of the disks of mother of pearl with the quarter edge. they are not just slivers they are definitely slabs of the mother of pearl. The colors layer and swirl on the surface to reflect that. Upon the closest of inspection, one piece in the eleven o'clock position is the slightest bit off center in the set. I'm sure it could be easily adjusted back into position, but I will let you or your professional handle that. There is no sign of bending or stress in the metal around that spot or anywhere else that I can find and since I'm no jewelry I'd hate to create it not knowing what I'm doing. But I felt any potential bidders should be aware. The gold metal looks genuine, but I think its just a really good fake. I don't believe anyone would ever tell the difference when they are worn. I doubt a person could ever get beyond the colours, depth and beauty of the mother of pearl pieces to notice the metal at all. They are truly stunning. I will send them to you well protected. Mine or yours, I would hate to see anything this beautiful damaged.
