New prayer quilt, includes thread and has 2 loops for hanging. Measures 21 1/2" long 15" wide

How to use: prayer quilts are great to give to someone who is sick, going through a hard time or as a good bye gift. Each person pulls a piece of thread through the quilt as they say a prayer or a well wish for the person. Then tie a knot in the thread. Quilting in in a heart stitch.

Nice auction! I have never heard of this type quilt before. Would you give me a little more information about how you have done this in the past? Was it at a party, hospital, meeting or how did you pass it around to get stitched? How does the person the quilt is for know who prayed for them?

You can do this any way you want. I have heard of some using a note book of some sort for each person to write down their prayer. You can also get each person to contribute to some of the cost of the quilt. ( not sure how to do that here) Look at a prayer quilt as a sort of card.
