It is a copy if no marking. But it is very nice and I have an original and a copy and you can't tell them a part unless you look on back for marking.

The Charms, chain nor the locket looks to be Origami Owl. If it is an authentic Origami Owl jewelry it will have an O2 stamp on it(even the charms)

I went to a craft store quickly at lunch to pick up metallic paint. There were no lockets there but many sets of charms for floating lockets. Hope that helps.

Some arts&crafts stores do. I've seen them at the last two gift/craft shows I went to. I am sure you can order them online..
The round silver I order for the jewelry I make.
