Almost any $5.00 universal remote from your local dollar store will work with this box....Just figured I'd add my 2 cents worth :)

I got it at a pawn shop and there was no remote but if I find one used for a couple $ I will include it

No you don't sound like an idiot anyway this converter also has the red/white/which is the left and right audio and the yellow which is the video and the twist on antenna input and output I will see if I can take a picture of it for you I hope this answers your question
