GRANDIOSE MEDITERRANEAN BEAUTY!

Massive, Magnificent, Complex...And So Easy To Grow!
5 RARE HISTORICAL SEEDS!!

If this plant appears to present a grandiose 'air of dignity' about it; that's because she's earned her bragging rights! To truly understand the majesty of this opulent plant connected to formal gardens for over 2,500 years, one must take a closer look at Greek columns and Roman art.

Within the scared carvings and architecture of both cultures, there you will find on prominent display, the large 2-3', well-defined toothed leaves & stately stalks filled with an abundance of purple hooded spikes crowning the creamy-white flowers of the royal Acanthys Mollis.

This year why not add a historical 'show stopper' to your garden?

I just put mine in to germinate and can't wait to see this one grow!!! Everything about it is awesome, including its history. It would have been illegal for your or I to grow it unless we worked in the royal gardens.

I have 4 of these plants and my dogs and cat pay them no mind at all. I love my plants, they are beautiful with their purple and white spikes. You can also propagate them with root tubers. That how I went from 1 plant to 4.

Thank you for sharing that history, it's very important that we share our gathered knowledge about what we grow and pass it on and on etc...unless someone did care and what a shame for the future that would be. It could be harmful to pets or to humans and that sort of info needs to be passed on etc...I choose to be "Royal" this year...I hope! lol

Thank you! It's amazing how each living seed also has its own living history. Also amazing is that seeds were valued higher than most folks lives. Just wish I had more time to study them all!
Thanks for the heads-up on the poison issue, I will make sure to include it in any further listings.

Gee, this is my first year to try them, so I really can't say. But I'll let ya know because I'm late to germinate mine and will have to plant in the heat. My guess is once established in a pot they will do just fine.
