The listing, 2 Ancient Roman Coins Great Details, uncleaned has ended.

These are 2 ancient roman coins that soaked for a few weeks but were never cleaned any further. You can see that they both have great details and would show even more once fully cleaned. It's hard to photograph and really show the details. I don't know their exact years or which emperor they depict. I used to have all of the identification software, but it was on my old computer.

In ancient Rome soldiers would bury their valuables before they went off to war. Of course thousands never made it home and their treasure was left behind. These coins are found in many modern countries and available for purchase.

The dime is to show scale and it is not included. I also have an ancient silver coin if anyone would like me to list that. I may be persuaded to list some other ancient coins if I see some interest in these. They are from my personal collection. I also have byzantine and a few other civilizations coins.

ancient coins can range in value from a few dollars to hundreds or thousands depending on condition, composition, and how rare it is. Usually the silver or gold ones are the most valuable.

Well most roman coins are dime or smaller sized, some byzantine coins run a little larger
