This is a small ceramic birdbath, (2 5/8 tall 2 1/2" wide approximately) with four doves sitting around the edge of the birdbath. The doves have gold eyes and gold accents around their tail and wing feathers. Gold ring under birdbath and gold line around the base. I cannot tell you the age of this piece, please look closely at the pictures. It is very old and some of the gold has rubbed off through the years. I could find no chipping or crackling. What type of ceramic, I don't know. Gold kt, I don't know, possibly 24kt. It is very sweet. There was a voltive candle in it when I bought it. Cat's starring at those birds. Miniature.
