Hype bluetooth speaker works with any bluetooth item can also plug in phones or mp3/4 non bluetooth. Great sound bought Xmas 2013. In original box. Has built in mic for receiving phone calls. Bought a new one with a lip to hold my devices.

Would you say the sound is clear and loud? I mainly used my Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen while cleaning the house. Unfortunately, I lost mine and am looking to replace it. I looked the item up on Amazon but I didn't see any reviews. What did you like about it most?

Sound is like a stereo but controlled by the device playing the music so volume and equalizer depends on the device (iPhone , mp3 player etc I love it just wanted one that has a lip to hold my tablet and other devices

been a couple months since I turned it on so I just did and yes its clear and loud used a Samsung note 10.1 tablet sounds great.
