it's not pure silver, but I've had it for YEARS and it's never tarnished - I'm still trying to figure out how we both win - if buyer pays shipping, then I pay to ship it - I don't make any money right? Sorry, I'm not sure if this is going to work - used to Ebay and making some money with my items.

Usually, when the seller provides free shipping, the bids go much higher.

Some sellers pay for shipping and some charge the shipping costs to the buyer. Normally you will get more bids on an item if you offer free shipping on it. The majority of your bids will happen on the final day of your auction, usually the action happens in the final few minutes. You do not make money on here like ebay, here you earn credits which you then use to buy items you want or need. I hope that helps to clear things up a bit for you. Yeah this site isnt to make any $$ it's to earn credits.Like jewelrygilr said you work for credits so you can get items you want or need, I sell mainly jewelry only and vintage/antique jewelry also and I do really GREAT...
I have lots of credits but not lots of $$ for shipping becasue all of my auctions I pay shipping on..ANd I ship US and Canada,but my credits do really good, And I have won a lot of really nice items on here...
I had and ebay store for years and years and this is somewhat similar but still very very different and the people on here are great or at least for the most part,I have only been on here live not quite 2 monts and have had over 100 auctions and 100% positive feedback and I am getting all my jewelry inverntroy from Houston Texas to here in Missouri by end of the month and will be on a listing frenzy here..LOL
I LOVE htis site and the people,I still do ebay and ebid and starting esty and a couple more sites, but I am sooo hooked on this site and the people they all feel like friends to me..Hope we helped you out..
And again Welcome to Listia once you get the program down pat here you will LOVE this site and besides ebay your items dont bring near as much as they use to a few years back ebid has taken away a lot of ebays jewelry dealers.....
