Thank you all so MUCH for all of your input, honesty and integrity, the world needs more people like all of you!!! I looked at these more and trying to do some research on them, from what I could find (there's not much info on these), these look to be mixed year tokens, not real california fractional but copies or replicas (which some of these tokens are also collectible as well).

So Listians bid as though these are tokens and not authentic Cal Fractional coins please. Again thank you all for not wanting me to know before placing these up on auction without getting any cash value for these, especially in these economic times!!!

One token in the first picture seems to be covered in a blue-green verdigris. I think there is another coin with light blue-green spots displayed in the second picture. I would guess, and this is only a guess, that some of these are gold-plated brass reproductions.

i would still say get them checked out first. they may appear as fakes. but on the other hand, look at how many items appear to be real as well!

indeeed there is white gold. it could also be a calcium residue coatingn the coin. or mere grime.

These are the brass reproductions that you can get through mailers and that is why they are discoloring. but cool coins to look at.
