Description

The listing, ~Mixed Iris~ seeds (15) has ended.

Irises are wonderful garden plants. The word Iris means rainbow. Irises come in many colors. The seeds are a mixture of the photos show above. I am not sure which ones you will get, when blooms die I forget what color they were. LOL My yard is filled with many types and colors of flowers. So I guess you are bidding on a mystery batch, so in the spring you will get a big surprise. I accept PayPal or send two LOOSE U.S. postage "FOREVER" stamps inside a self-addressed envelope -- Don't affix stamps to anything.
Listia verified address and shipping fees are expected within 7 days of auction ending or item will be relisted!

The genus Iris has about 200 species and is native to the North Temperate regions of the world. The habitat of irises also varies a lot. Some irises grow in deserts, some in swamps, some in the cold far north, and many in temperate climates. Bearded Iris and Siberian Iris are two of the most common types of irises grown.

The seeds grow to form bulbs, I did not know it either until a couple of years ago. I did not gather the seeds and my Iris' kept getting thicker and thicker. Then I found out that is was because the seeds fell to the ground because I did not collect them and a new plant came.

Are they perennials? Otherwise, they'd be dead as soon as I get them.

They are perennial. These are seeds, not live plants.
