yes it is a little stretchy jean material but not a huge amount like some of them and if you wash the first time in vinegar the color never fades and does not bleed,also do not stick in dryer on high so it does not shrink.It is really cute.

mine are wider than that and I can get in it,You can shrink at also,just remember to put vinegar in it the first wash so it looks brand new 4 ever.It seems a little smaller than a five cause I wear 3 pants perfect and it fits me.I am a little old for a short skirt,49 cannot really pull it off as much anymore.
