Life of Christ 1940 illustrated. What a beautiful old book. Life of Christ is 6.5"x9"x1". Over 300 pages. Revised in 1947, this book was given as a gift to a young girl as a reward for her attendance at a Lutheran church. The names of the giver and receiver are written on the inside cover. What an image that invokes of faith in a simpler time. Book is beautiful hardcover simulated leather in green. Front picture shows some wear from handling. Book is a little loose in the spine, but the pages are perfect, and contain color and black and white illustrations of scene's from Jesus life. In the back are photographs of actual scenes in 1940's Holy Land. What a snapshot into the life of Christ and the Holy Land. Make this a gift to another young person learning about Jesus, and reach out to a previous generation at the same time.
