This is Dana! Dana was abandoned in January 2012 while already in SPCRS's care. I was helping someone rehabilitate Dana when they just gave up on her. She came to me obese and with liver disease. About a month after having her I almost lost her to the liver disease but I refused to give up on her. Today she is still sick but is not suffering at all. Her liver disease can pop back up at any time, but we keep our hopes up that it doesn’t. She laso has tumors that we keep a close eye on. She is still in SPCRS's care today and is very happy! Due to her condition she will not be put up for adoption.
