Boar bristles - Three rows of bristles - the middle strip bristles are longer than the ones on the outside to achieve the "teasing" effect. Brush is a total of 9 inches long. The actuall brush part is about 4 1/2 inches long. 1/2 inch wide and has a pick end on the handle to lift and separate hair.
