Up for auction, this beautiful 4 1/2" Nemadji Indian Pottery. Popular for more than 70 years, Nemadji Porttery began in 1929, and Nemadji finally ceased production in 2001. It is made from colorful clay and then, it was baked, but in later years, a kiln was used for glazing and firing. The inside of all true Nemadji Pottery is glazed. Om the bottom of each piece you will find a native American head, Nemadji Pottery, and USA. With these markings, all 3 must be present to be authentic Nemadji and not a reproduction. The colors are gorgeous. Google Nemadji to find out more about it. This 4 1/2" vase that I am offering, retail sells for about $20.00. and this is a smaller one.
