When you say "night vision" do you mean like the milspec ATN NVG style or is it just they have yellow lenses?

What size batteries does it use? Are they IR or starlight?

no batteries required the night vision is built into the lenses, starlight:)

Being ex-military I know there is 2 kinds of real night vision, infrared and starlight. Infrared uses an infrared( IR ) illuminator which needs a battery. Starlight uses existing starlight and magnifies it about 30,000 times which requires a battery. If you don't have one of these what you have is a low light enhancer which let's you see better early in the morning and just before dark. Try going out at midnight and true night vision will let you see like its daytime but green. Don't mean to bust your bubble but if it ain't got batteries it ain't night vision.
