The listing, Opal Triplet Gemstone Set in Sterling Silver has ended.

October Birthstone....... This opal has so much fire!!! A lot of beautiful, bright red, blue and green!! Each angle shows different colors.

The gemstone is an opal triplet measuring 6 X 8 mm. I do not know the carat weight. The mounting is sterling silver. This is from my mother's estate. I'm sure she wore it a time or two, but there are no scratches on the opal, even through a 45X loupe.

Marking: .925
Size: 8 1/2

No, I cannot. I can barely read the marking with a 45X loupe. There is no way my camera can photograph that small writing. But it is there.
