The listing, iPod Touch 3rd 32GB Works has ended.

This is a working iPod touch 3rd generation 32GB. All of the functions on it work but the cosmetic condition is not that great. It has a chip in the glass (not a crack) next to the home button on the screen. There are scratches on the screen and on the back.

The wifi, power button, home button, volume buttons, speaker and headphone jack all work. This generation does not have any cameras on it.

The battery life is average with around 8 hours of playing music before it needs to be recharged. If you watch videos or play games the time will be less.

There is no engraving or stickers or dents on the back, just scratches.

The iOS version is 4.2.1 but you can update it if you want by connecting it to your computer and restoring it in iTunes.

Does it cut you at all? And will a screen protector cover the cracks?

As the listing states, there are no cracks so I'm not sure what you are referring to. There is a chip on the screen and it will not cut you. You can put a screen protector over it if you want and it will work great. I don't have one but I can add a screen protector designed for the 4th generation touch and then you can cut it to fit this one.
