Water the coneflowers regularly. When the weather is dry make sure they get about 1 inch per week.
Thin the seedlings after they emerge. Space the plants about 12 to 18 inches apart. The coneflower will grow to be between 2 and 4 feet tall. Questions & Comments

Are any of your seeds organic? We were exposed to a toxin in the work place. Played havoc with our immune systems (my wonderful husband would go with me on weekends and at night. A little late, but we only grow organic seeds and plants, including flowers. You have some lovely things! Thanks!

Thank you, I do use preen weed killer in my flower beds to help keep all the weeds down, sorry!

Thanks for letting me know! If you are interested, I 'be found that hand pulling after a rain when weeds are very small, then putting my own compost down and covering it with plain cardboard covering that with straw mulch,, plus close inter planting with companion plants, prevents weeds and most pests, doing away with the need for chemicals which leach into the ground water. If it will kill a weed it can't be good for us. Just a thought...

Your welcome, And I do pull the weeds after a rain, well what I can, I had over 3000 flowers last year. I live in the country on 18 acres, I have about 22 flower beds and that is a lot to keep up with...LOL...I just love flowers

I do understand! We have 10 acres, and with the aytoimmune mess feels like a 1000. I worry about the earth and the future for my kids, so please forgive me. What has happened to us was caused by a toxin. Things fdeemed save 5 years ago are now known to me dangerous. I 'll try yo stay off my bandbox, just don't want others to go through what happened to us. Never smoked, drank, didn't even take aspirin , married to one man , exercised, ate right--all the right things, but a toxin has devastated our bodies. Confirmed 10 years after the fact though I told them something was making me sick. Lady who took m place hospitalized--I kept working. Many people paid off. Found out by accident I was right, but statute had run out. Wouldn't have sued, but doctors might could have done something to help. Now treat symptoms if they can without messing something else up. Know I'm not criticizing In any way. Just deathly afraid of future consequences, so just ignore. All the best , Diannr
