The spirits of the souls that are here just seem to show themselves to anyone that happens to be here. For example, the very first time a good friend and were there taking pictures when we got home to the computer to view them in several frames there was a little girl in a pink dress by the back stone wall. She seemed to smile and was happy that someone was there besides herself.
Another time my friend and I went there with a ghost hunting team from Charlotte, NC and when we got back to her place for some coffee she was reviewing the tape of everyone talking. All of a sudden her face went blank & I asked her what was wrong? She backed up the recorder and let me listen to it. On the tape I could hear one of the girls saying she wanted to leave, she didn't like it here. All of a sudden there comes this loud voice of a male saying, "Then why did you come?". It was the kind of voice that sends chills down your spine. Since I was there I knew that no one had said that.
So YEP, it's haunted alright.

Wow. Awesome tales!! I would love to visit there. I grew up in Wilmington, NC. We had a lot of haunted places there, too. Thanks for telling the most interesting stories of the cemetery!!

Oh you are more than welcome. I think I will add these stories to the description. A lot of the OLDER places have spirits. I just think it's interesting.
