The listing, Medieval Flail Replica has ended.

Up for auction is a medieval flail replica. These were used in combat in medieval times when you fought with swords and steel armor. They were made with wood, iron chain and an iron spiked sphere. This again is a replica made mostly of paper mache with the chain being plastic barrier chain. DON'T BE FOOLED! This thing will hurt someone if they get hit with it. NOT INTENDED TO BE USED AS A WEAPON! This was made to hang on a wall or with some other medieval pieces. Happy bidding!

chain is plastic, rest is paper mache.... kinda like paper/plaster combo painted and sealed....looks really nice too!

Only thing that is plastic is the chain..... the spiked ball is paper mache... you can google "paper mache" and you will find that its basically newspaper like material mixed with a hardener like plaster/paste..... its very hard and nobody would want to be hit by it whatsoever.... again its purpose is to be a replica... something that would look nice on the wall next to any medieval decorations...

DadaMonk, I did make it.... I make a lot of movie props... Freddy Kruger gloves along with some other horror movie things, medieval armor and weapons, star wars stuff and basically anything "Cool" you would see used in movies.... (LIttle known fact: lots of the things you see used in movies are really make of paper/foam/plastic, such as rocks, weapons and tools....) I try and re-create them to look as real as possible. This item took weeks as with each layer I applied, you must wait 24 hours for it to dry before applying the next layer. This item took over 50 layers to finish!... yes its a lot of work but I have fun doing it....
