how long before they start fruiting? is it like a normal bush where it needs to be at least 2 years old?

the first year i planted them in my green house in jan and in july i has flowers i only got 1 to 2 pints each plant the first year and about 2 to 3 quarts the second year cant wait till this year

LOL... thanks!!! we must have noticed it about the same time! ok... cool... got my eye on these! and you said they do well in a container?? do you know how well they handle the heat?? the regular bushes I have going are "designed" for the texas summer.

dont think its much hotter than florida we get 110 degree weather just keep them watered so they dont dry out and should be fine

thanks!!! my self pollinator that I use to pollinate the other, budded out with what would have probably been a couple pints worth, but we've had some major wind here from storms that ALMOST reach us and has knocked most of them off!
