I live in illinois and have started growing a bunch of seeds in sept of last year and it is doing gereat. I brought it in over the winter and it didnt do much but then and a month ago or so I put a grow light on it and it has stared to really grow. I also started some seeds again about 1 month ago and they are just poking there heads out of the dirt. From what I can see they take a little time to start growing but once they do they do good, just give them light. Good Luck
