Seventeen-year-old Alexia Wheaton hasn't been herself lately. Neither has her 15-year-old sister Hayley. In fact, they've been each other.
Alexia (Katherine Heigl) becomes fashion-challenged Hayley, Hayley (Danielle Harris) becomes stylin' Alexia and the complications come fast, furious and funny in the delightful family comedy Wish upon a Star. When Hayley, envious of her sister's looks and popularity, makes a wish, it comes amazingly true. The car keys, the guys, the too-cool-to-care friends — suddenly they're all Hayley's. And Alexia gets...well, Alexia gets good and angry. Life among the clueless Hayleys of the world is no life for someone sure a just-right accessory is the dividing line between humanity and lower life forms. "You might have my body, breasts and boyfriend," she snaps, "but you are not me!" We'll just have to see about that, won't we?
