These George & Martha Washington soaps and plate were produced by Avon in 1976 to celebrate the Bicentennial. The soaps are 3 oz each. Fragrance is "Special Occasion". They are still very fragrant! The plate measures about 9" by 6". It says, "United States of America", 1776 Bicentennial 1976". The center is an eagle. The back of the box describes the history and symbolism of the eagle. The box is a little beat up. The soaps are in fair condition. A nick or two. The plate is in excellent condition.
