Its straight talk and it runs off sprint towers dont know what other company you can change it to.

I have a straight talk phone. It is my understanding that they runs off from Verizon towers. I tried to switch my Boost Mobile phone to Straight talk, but it still would have run off from Sprint towers, which has very poor signal in my area.

Well one time I had a issue with service in my area and when I called straight talk they told me the sprint towers were down. So I always went off of that.
