The listing, Safflower Seeds has ended.
Safflower Seeds. I got this little packet of Safflower seeds as a bonus when I bought seeds elsewhere. Sadly I do not live in a climate that will support Safflower. It's too wet and humid in South Coast Massachusetts.
From the Web: "Safflower plants grow successfully when the annual precipitation is less than 15 inches per year. The plants require at least 120 frost-free days and prefer a long, hot, dry summer. Diseases may cause problems in areas with high rainfall and humidity."
So if your in a dry arid environment it looks like Safflower might be for you! They look like they are gorgeous flowers.
I can't see what's in the package but it feels like at least 12 seeds.
