Description

The listing, 2½ Yard TORI RICHARD LTD. Cotton Lawn FABRIC Tropical Print has ended.

Up for auction is a 2 yard plus 20 inches of 44" wide Tori Richard Ltd. fabric. It was not originally mine, but I was told it was Lawn, and indeed it does feel like it.

Incredibly lightweight without being too sheer. Selvage reads "TORI RICHARD LTD. PATT/TR-9139 ©". This fabric design was custom made for this brand.

From their website: "In each piece of exquisite fabric one might find a thread with the balance of Kyoto, the mystery of Marrakech, the serenity of Hanalei and the sophistication of St. Tropez."

Tori Richard brand is probably best known for their men's casual resort-wear shirts, but they also make woman's wear. This piece is large enough to create your own outstanding item!

This had a previous owner, but there is no evidence of smoke or any other odors. Would make really cute sundress for a girl, or a Hawaiian shirt for a boy!

yes, mine too. ebay's great that way. i have a lot of hawaiian themed clothing that i wear 7 months out of the year. but i also check out the thrift stores, i only get the best condition items.

I ran our church's thrift store for 7 years until they sold the building and we closed. We did get some gorgeous donations, and I really miss it, as I sometimes got to see the items before the customers, so I got first pick! *sigh*

Very pretty- I am a fan of Tori Richard clothing, but it's pricey so I usually pick it up from ebay. Tori Richard is along the same line as Tommy Bahama except for two things (1) originated in the 1960s and is a made-in-hawaii brand name (2) while Tommy Bahama is resort wear, does not align itself with Hawaii, though there are some stores on the islands as well as carries exclusive-to-Hawaii prints, which are copyrighted, as well.

I had never heard of this brand before I stumbled upon this piece at a charity sale! Probably because of the price, it's not something commonly sold at a mall store (at least not in my area!). I learn something new every day!

I only knew of the brand when my husband and I started vacationing in hawaii from 2005 on, the dresses can average in the $130 range but can go as high as $200, while the mens shirts average $120 each

oh that is a nice thing that you did for your church. yes, donations help keep good things from ending up in the dump. i love recycling and look at recycling as a way of life. for years, before this site, i swapped clothing, bags, jewelry & books. but i have way more experience on this site, now. i love it. yes, it is an addiction. oh well, everyone's got their thing. this is mine. i work in a gaming company but don't gamble because i'd rather shop, but what i love even more, is swapping. for the most part, this site is fun. but every so often, i get an item, and i smell smoke (i am allergic), which really should've been disclosed, but some sellers are not as honest. i mention everything just because i've learned from my mistakes. some people are very picky too. you just never know, better to get all the bases covered. sorry, i am going on and on.

I think we would get along famously! I am also allergic to smoke! And I've had wonderful deals on here, and a few NOT! And I go to church / charity sales (and thrift stores), every chance I get! :) I love the church / charity ones because I can rationalize that what I am purchasing is helping someone else. LOL!

Yes, I believe that in selecting thrift shops that help charities is important; it's the reason I always donate to our local womens shelter, as well as savers, which donates to local charities as well as abroad. When we have our yard sales, we donate what's left to savers. And I can relate to good & bad deals here.
