Description

The listing, 4 SKEINS Acrylic YARN Baby Pink has ended.

Up for bid are 4 skeins of baby pink acrylic yarn. I purchased these from a gal at a church sale, and she said they were full.

Three have weighed out to the 3½ oz marked on the label, but one only weighs out to 3 oz. So either some was used, or it was that way when she purchased it.

It has been stored (clean and dry) for a number of years. I don't think K-Mart has sold yarn for quite some time (at least not in this area). But it's as good as new, and ready to be made into your favorite project!

Machine wash and dry. I only scanned two skeins because they are all exactly alike, but there are four total. Her home was smoke-free, and so is ours!

No GIN or changes. :)

I'm guessing worsted weight? Fanned you and watching.

Well, I have gone and looked up worsted weight (since it doesn't tell me on the label), and this may be sport weight. Not sure, but I think it's just a tad finer than what is listed as worsted. When I purchase yarn for a project, it's usually to weave on a loom, so I don't need a certain weight, I just eyeball whether it will be easy to weave on my loom. As a result, I've not gotten familiar with weights. So I'm going with my best "guess", which is sport weight. Hope this helps!

To determine weight wrap the yarn snugly around a large needle, a ruler or the end of your crochet hook. Make sure the yarn lies flat. Push the yarn together so there are no gaps between wraps. Smooth it out so it is neither too loose nor too tight. Measure the number of wraps per inch (2.5 cm). For better accuracy, measure the wraps at the center of your yarn sample. 9 - 10 wraps per inch (WPI) will be #4 medium / worsted weight; 11 WPI will be #3 light worsted / DK. Label 12 WPI as #2 fine / sport weight.
