There's absolutely nothing wrong with charging shipping, from being on Ebay over 10 years, people think this site has to be different. I try to offer free shipping on smaller items but big items like game consoles I must charge.

People are stingy and will only bid high if it's free shipping. To me free shipping is overrated. I'll pay shipping with a smile on my face.

Thanks for the photos. Whether or not there is shipping on an item is up to the seller. A lot of people don't want to pay for shipping and thus won't bid on items if there is. With that said, most times when there is no shipping- bids tend to get a lot higher (but not always). Now what people don't think about is that some can't afford to pay out of their own pockets to do free shipping. It just depends on your situation. As long as one is not asking too much for shipping, it is ok per listia rules. Even if shipping is a few dollars over what an item ships for, the seller is also putting in their time to get it out and the packaging - so I don't have a problem with it (although there are others that don't see it that way & will grouch). So, if you can't do free shipping - be sure to state so when you post items up for grabs and you shouldn't get as many shipping comments. ;0)
