I made this flower baby out of clay, then baked it in a special, new oven that will never be used to cook food. I painted it with heat reborn paints (3-4 very thin layers baking each layer). I added the flower head band, then I put a bow on her lower back and glued a rhine on the center of the bow to dress her up. The last thing I did was glue her to a large silk flower I bought from a craft store. This baby has very fine details including blushing, veins and creases (my camera isn't very good it looks much better in real life).. It measures only 2 1/2 inches long. It takes a lot of time to make one of these. I love to make reborn baby dolls but I now love making clay babies also. I tried to add lots of picts. so you can see all around the baby.
