Description

The listing, Intel Pentium Dual-Core E6700 Desktop Processor W/Fan and Heatsink has ended.

This is an Intel Pentium Dual-Core cpu. It came out of an older mid size desktop pc that again I only obtained for the tower. I do a lot of builds and personally prefer AMD(not knocking Intel in any way btw lol). I did test the PC before disassembly so I know for certain it works just fine. It's a 3.20GHZ for Socket 775 (LGA775/T). Any questions or comment's are welcome as I will do my best to help. As with all my auctions the item's will be shipped via USPS priority W/tracking. Thanks for looking and GL!

I don't have the original main board for this but I do have one with the correct socket type but unfortunately haven't had the chance to test it yet as I don't want to give something that may not work.

would you toss in the motherboard untested?

No simply because I just don't want to take a chance on sending out any "junk". It's easy to get a bad rep and personally I don't really like the listings that say "buy at your own risk" lol. I want all to know I auction quality, working products every time.

Thanks! As for a whole lot I still need to test for functionality as I work a lot it takes time so I don't really have time for a bulk sale. I should have several rdy for auction by middle of next week with motherboards so keep an eye out. Also if u let me know what u r looking for I can get to them first.

Actually the E6700 has a clock speed of 2.66GHz. I know the Q6700 and E6700 have the same speed.

To respectfully disagree, the one listed is the Intel Pentium E6700 with a clock speed of 3.20GHZ which is easily confused with the Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 that is clocked @ 2.66GHZ. If you look closely at the pic it has 3.20GHZ on the CPU. And yes..i am a geek lol!

I to prefer amd . but intel has 5 processors that are faster.

No comparison on speed when it comes to Intel vs and but in reality most "normal" user's simply do not have the need for so many cores and threads. Just my opinion though :-)

It's kinda like having a $50k jacked up 4x4 truck when you live somewhere flat and never snows lol. It's really just about liking it even if you don't need it.
