The listing, WWII Combat Insignia Poster Stamps-Original has ended.

Look closely WWII/ millitary history buffs you will recognize these images -some of the most beloved
and decorated Air Sqadrons of WWII.

Question:What are these?

Answer: Twelve ORGINAL 1942, WWII U.S. , Combat- Insignia collectible stamps. Stamps are purely collectibles- They were not used for mailing. Stamps are smaller versions of posters distrubuted to increase patriotism and honor the bravery of U.S. Fighter Squadrons.

Stamps were mounted in a scrap book and are in excellent condition- with the exception of the 15th Observation Squadron which has a slight piece of paper stuck under the image.

The detail on these is great. These would look great framed or mounted in a WWII scrapbook.

I took a close-up pic (2) of some of my favorites to help you get a good idea of how much detail they have.

The dae of 1942 is clearly visible on the bottom of each poster stamp.

Amy, can I ask you a question? I am not a collector. I have an old Green Lantern comic book. The bottom corner is ripped, but the rest is intact. It's from the 80's I think. Do you think people would bid on it?

OK I listed it. Will you tell me what you think? I was not into comic books really, except when I was little I used to read Archie and Veronica, that one. I liked Betty better.... anyway I would be interested to know if there are collectors out there who would bid on this.... if you know... I think I will email pokemon124. Oops, sorry for advertising on your auction; I hate it when people do that and I just did it, lol.

I do have the tendency to worry that I have offended people, people are angry, etc. And just my luck, my new next door neighbor is prone to flying into bizarre rages. I now avoid him as much as possible while trying to maintain a sweet demeanor.
OK, everyone check out my "chunk of amber" auction in Arts and Crafts!!!
Amy, are you coming to help with my yard sale on Saturday?

I guess a 20 cent FDR stamp with a big rip at the top would be no good?
