hello, this cd is not a promo copy ---there are no stickers over barcode saying "for promo use only"---they just continued to press these cds up to 2006 -- 8 or 10 years ago, you could get them anywhere(tower records, k-mart, etc)---now, people want them for their collection of rare cds---hope that answered your question----thanks
