Put simply, in describing one small aspect of this book; one person or a small group of people sees an injuste, (not unjust) in the distribution of wealth, the wrongful use of environment resources or just sees an opportunity to enrich the lives of others through personal action; philanthropy, community volunteering...etc and yes "City Year" evolved out of this concept. City Year brokered the needs of local schools, youth centers and parks in Boston by attracting young people to work in those schools and organizations.

It is a most complex read; in wanting to understand the workings of a network, or Net Work. As exclusive as it is inclusive. So take heed and be-aware.
