The listing, Rare World War II Polish Liberation Stamps has ended.
Rare Polish stamps issued after liberation. The stamps were printed on low grade paper and were not perforated. The one shows a before (1939) and after (1945) picture of Warsaw and the destruction left by the Nazi military. The other shows a Polish castle landmark. The stamps were put out almost as soon as the German troops had been forced out by the invading Russian army and prior to the Soviet take over of the country.
