The beads on this Pretty, Double Strand, necklace are Fabulous & Very OLD ! As are the faux Pearls.

The Azure Blue, Turquoise & Lilac color palate is so lovely & translates into a unique & Feminine piece.

It measures just 14", end to end,so it's actually a choker.
It is strung on cloth string.

Looks to me that the clasp was replaced at some point. It does say Japan. The chain links are very interesting & I think very age appropriate to the necklace. I do have some ideas floating back & forth in my mind, though~~

There is no doubt that this choker is mid-century or older. The clasp says Japan, but the beads look perhaps Austrian?? or Itallian?? Just thinking~~

I also had the idea of re-stringing the beads, all on one strand to make it longer. It would still be a FAbulous necklace, but would fit more necks. Ummm, OK then, I am rambling~~~
