I always put an amount in my head, and bid that from the start, it will only go to the starting bid. so if I ask for 50 credits, but someone bids 2000 credits, it will stay at 50 credits, till someone tries to out bid that 50. So if I don't win, I just let it go. But you will win every now and then. I will see if I have another, and make it a short auction. so the bidding doesn't go too high..
