Description

The listing, 25 + SNAP DRAGONS has ended.

They get their name from the fact that you can gently squeeze the sides of the intricately shaped flower and see the jaws of a dragon head snap closed. The blooms come in gorgeous colors, including some with beautiful color variations on each flower. Plus, snapdragons are an outstanding cut flower. Gather a dozen or more in a small vase and you'll have one of the prettiest bouquets around.

Snapdragons are tender perennials that are only hardy to about USDA Hardiness Zones 8 or 9. In most areas they are commonly grown as annuals. Even when they do over-winter, they never seem to bloom as robustly as they did in their first year, which leads many people to think they are biennial, but they should form seed pods in their first year. If you're lucky, they may even self-sow.

I live in Las Vegas and these grow superbly and reseed abundantly! Most of them are about 4 feet tall! I am in zone 6. FYI
