The listing, Mastro Plastic Clothes Pins has ended.
Up For Bid! Authentic 1951 Mastro Plastic Clothes Pins. They are in the original box that is tattered as you can see in the pictures. The box says 49 but I received it with 44 the pins are in Great condition.
Mastro is the last name of the inventor of the plastic clothes pin, Previously a bamboo farmer and invented the bamboo reed for Woodwind instruments. In 1949 he invented the plastic cloths pin as a convenience for his wife, as many of their clothes were getting torn and snagged by the wood ones used to hang the laundry on the line. In 1951 they were patented and on the market for everyone. These are a great addition for any collector. Good luck on bidding.
