The listing, Beautiful Japanese Sake set~authentic hand painted from Japan has ended.

My father brought this back from Japan in 1973. Classic hand painted,1 (5 1/2")sake tokkuri/decanter,set of 5 small (2")sake cups and 1 (7 1/2") serving plate. Hard to tell from pics but, the brown base color has an opalescent sheen to it,very nice! The plate, has a copper shine in the design that compliments the rest of the set beautifully! Classic Japanese beauty! All listia rules apply, have fun ,let the bidding begin! Sayonara!

Konnichiwa Sakura :-} I looked on each piece for some kind of identification, I don't think i see anything,not in English, nor do I see any Japanese symbols. Yes I take PayPal, cash,money orders...

It looks like your's also has the finger hold indents on the sides of the decanter?/ Very Japanese, to be so practical, in their design. My set is from the Korean war era, white porcelin /w black caligraphy, liquid gold accent lines, ridge ringed body style, lip has a pour dip and 4 cups flared small base with wider flared top, but w/o a serving plate. Yours is very handsome. F & W
