So are you saying that this system has no hard drive at all. Does that mean your auctioning it unable to play. Doesn't it need the Hard drive to work

That is correct, as it is, its unable to play. you also need cables(HDMI or AV and power), controllers, Hard Drive, and games, this is meant for someone who's 360 broke (disk drive, RRoD, ect.)

Why dont you just get the new xbox? It's so much fun, and with a house full of roomates makes it even better. :) I am totally watching and I might even bid depending on how high it goes. no, its not. i own it. i know what it has. XBOX 360's have a detachable HDD the new ones are internal, but easily removable.

its not the xbox slim, the 4GB hard drive you are talking about comes with the xbox 360 slim. not the original 360.
