For your consideration is a nice trinket box out of Ireland. This box is very ornate all the way around, solid pewter, Claddagh theme lid that also has a pin on the back so it can be used as a brooch. Unique item!

Not at all, look at the fifth picture. The lid has a pin on the back so you can use it as a brooch. And yes, pewter is a gray colored metal, but if you are into crafts and art you can paint it in any colors you would like... a big red heart, golden crown,... just to throw out some ideas.....
