The listing, Vintage Handmade Trinket Box has ended.

Hand made Kashmir India marks the bottom of this 4 1/2" by 4" jewelry or trinket box. It is light in weight. Possibly a lightweight wood carved and painted and laquered. It appears that the design was painted on a thin paper and applied. Not sure.
From the estate of a 97 yr old woman whose husband would bring her small gifts when he traveled.

It looks orange but it has red over the orange making it a darker orange in places.
