** INDIANA GEODES ** MIXED COLLECTION **

Okay, you talked me into it! Here is another Geode auction for you! This includes FIVE (5) nice Geodes.
The largest one is broken in half with Jasper and other mineral exposed and feels really cool in your hand.
Two are solid and unbroken, one is almost white and the other is darker.
The next smaller on has a small round opening on one end that is full of Druzy Crystal points and very very pretty. It also has a tiny little hole of Druzy on the opposite end.
The smallest one in the front is a fragment totally covered with Druzy Crystal points - the pix seldom show how sparkly and beautiful they really are but I tried to get some good shots! These were slightly wet so you can see the colors better.

Shipping is USPS with tracking for $7.00, which is an incredible bargain as any of these stones would as much or much more in a rock shop! Sorry I can't do free shipping on these.

Hello all! I am very anxious for someone who genuinely LOVES gems and mineral and Geodes to PLEASE BID ON THIS Great little grouping!! I wanted a smaller auction so a true collector and gem lover could obtain some pieces not found where they live. I don't want them to go to a wholesaler to is going to slice them and dye them pink and call it "onyx slices" and makes a $1 keychain out it. I NEED these to go to someone who will love them for their natural beauty, just the way they are. Thank you all for being here and Good Luck! I pray the best person wins! :-)

I used to have shoe boxes, grocery bags, tins full of pretty rocks when I was little. I still love rocks but my mom can no longer get mad at me for collecting. Fanned and watching.

I can relate to that! I have been picking up stones since I was old enough to go outside! LOL! Maybe for a treat on the last day I will post a picture of me "rock collecting" when I was about 4... it is a family favorite.... and my favorite too 'cos it proves I was BORN a rock hound! LLOL!

I wish you could see the California Geodes I just got - very different from Indiana Geodes and just FULL of Crystal points.... and one has a perfect circle of Smokey Quartz in addition to the clear Quartz Crystals... It is STUNNING!!

I'd imagine they're different. I must do some more research on how environmental factors/ climate may effect geodes. Interesting stuff. Of course I'm waiting til the last minute on your other auctions. ;-)

I think they are fascinating and terribly interesting myself -born rock hound and studied geology in college (wish I had gotten my degree in that!!) The California ones look totally different on the outside - I don't know if they formed differently or are just more eroded than the ones here. One of the new Cali ones I don't know what to make off - it's all sort of different colors and has at least 4 different mineral/gems in it... I can't wait to show that one to an expert and found out just exactly what it is!!
