Description

The listing, Washburn X-Series guitar has ended.

Washburn X-Series guitar, candy apple red, has some scratches, no strings, no cord or any other devices that make it work. I really don't know much about it, so what you see is what you get. No buyers remorse, no refund & sorry absolutely NO FREE SHIPPING, PLEASEeeeeeeeee don't ask as I cannot afford to cover the shipping cost. I will allow for a pick up. I would like to get at the very least 60,000 If bidding reaches close to the GIN & you're local to the 92501 area I'll deliver. I checked into the estimated cost of packing & shipping it could possibly cost upwards of $60/$70 bucks so I have lowered the GIN price. I hope this will help to get the bids going.
Happy bidding listians!!!

Electric guitars don't cost $60+ to ship. Just had one ship for under $18 a couple weeks ago. $30 Would be on the higher end. Have bought and sold guitars for over 20 yrs and never heard of any guitar shipping over $40 unless its international. Just a heads up that it won't cost that much to ship

Oh awesome, I was kinda guessing on the weight& size so when I put the info in to estimate the shipping I ended up with that amount. So good to know thank you for the knowledge. I am still not sure if I have it posted for too little or too much. I'm sure if someone is interested I'd be willing to work something out with them. Again thanks

LOL... I can appreciate that.... But just ask any guitarist here that is watching.
Better yet, ask the winner!
That's why they call it a "Bolt-on neck", 4 screws is all that holds it on.

Since this guitar is already missing the strings, It would be very easy to remove the neck by carefully unscrewing the 4 screws & the plate. This would allow you to package it in a much smaller package, and save a bunch on shipping. Just be sure to include all removed hardware, and if you find any shims during removal....be a pal, and take a picture showing where it was shimmed.

I would not dare take something apart I know absolutely nothing about how to, for fear of damaging it. Nice thought though

If I knew the exact shipping cost I would bid in a heart beat, but because I never got a price, I guess I won't.

Would like to know shipping to 72719. Does the guitar come with a case? If so, is it a soft gig bag or hard case. Without a case, the shipping should not be more than $40. Shipping priority mail will be more expensive. You might be better off checking into shipping with UPS if the post office quotes you more than $40. UPS includes insurance.

There is NO case, & I will be taking it to the UPS store & having them pack & ship. Unfortunately my car has been in the shop & was not able to take it down on Friday or Saturday to get the cost of packing & shipping. I get my car back tomorrow. I do apologize, I had every intention of finding out the amount of the shipping before the auction was to end.

The bass with a hard case would be a lot more to ship than an electric guitar without a case.

I just shipped a bass fender precision LYTE with hard case and without taking the neck off it was 78 because of shape of case length and weight

That's about what I came up with when using the UPS website to estimate how much the shipping would be. Then the other person posted a comment telling me something different so I changed my auction price. Well I do appreciate the info you've given here. Thank you
